The Brooks city saddles are meant for an altogether more leisurely type of cycling, often found on bicycles with a more upright riding position whilst appreciating the surroundings. The great majority of the weight being supported by the rear quarter, such a stance applies most of the pressure on the rear part of the saddle, which needs to be wider. The heavy duty saddles are often found on trade bikes, cargo bikes and also some roadsters. They have the most springs and give a great deal of comfort providing you are fairly upright in your riding position. The B135 and B190 are unmistakable in looks having the largest springs on the rear and the wound front spring.
